In this video I show you two easy recipes to make “finger food” both using potatoes. They are much healthier than many of the store bought ready to heat finger foods.
Potato skin nachos has always been a family favorite at movie night for us. Nachos along with a side salad makes for a great dinner! Like all nachos you can vary your ingredients by your personal taste.
Ingredients for Potato Skin Nachos:
- ½ pound ground beef
- 8 large baking potatoes
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 cup frozen corn
- ½ cup finely chopped green onions
- 1 cup black beans
Potato wedges can be used as a finger food, or as a side dish with any meal where you might have potatoes. These taste much better than “French Fries” and are not deep fried. You can vary the flavours buy choosing different seasonings and can also use various dips.
Potato Wedges Ingredients:
- 12 medium size potatoes cut into wedges
- ¼ cup of oil
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
